Hale County EMS is a non-proft organization that provides emergency medical services to the citizens of Hale County Alabama. We operate under the direction of a Board of Directors and as a subordinate organization under the Hale County Healthcare Authority. We have two bases, one located in Moundville and our main base located in Greensboro. We currently maintain a fleet of six Type III ambulances and one Rescue unit equipped with the Jaws of Life. We staff two Advanced Life Support units 24/7 and provide convalescent transport for dialysis patients six days per week. Our other units remain as backup in the event we need to call in extra staffing. We strive to provide our employees with a family type atmosphere , excellent equipment, and comfortable working environment.

Pay Rates

EMR/Driver-$12.00/hr.

EMT-$14.00/hr.

Advanced/Intermediate-$16.00/hr

Paramedic-$18.00/hr.

Overtime paid at 1.5 times base rate for hours over 80 bi-weekly
